“So Nat, why the hell do you do these videos in the freezing weather with the snow outside?”
I can’t tell you how many times I get asked that question.
Well, I’m going to give you the answer.
There’s three reasons why I do this.
Here’s the first and most important reason.
I like to get out of my comfort zone. It’s as simple as that.
I know at least once a day I can totally get out of my comfort zone and coming outside gets me out of my comfort zone.
I like the crisp air. It’s fresh. My brain just operates faster. I’m sharper out there. Trust me.
Sometimes when I’m inside shooting videos, I get a little dazed and I don’t do as well.
The second reason is because of how gorgeous it is outside. I happen to love my property and a snow backdrop is just an amazing shot.
I hate to break it to people but I don’t do it for them. I do it for me.
And here’s my third reason.
Because it’s a challenge. I like to think if I can get past the shock value of a t-shirt in 20-degree weather and give you guys a message that you actually hear…..
If you can forget about the fact that I’m freezing my nuts off and actually get the message I’m trying to convey,
then I will have overcome that challenge and know that it’s a meaningful message that you’re getting.
So take these reasons for what it’s worth, but that’s why I shoot outside in the freezing cold. It ain’t for my health.
That’s all I got.
