Not Living Your Ideal Life is Like Being Constipated

I don’t like using this metaphor any more than you do, but it’s got to be said.

When you’re not living up to your full potential, it’s like being constipated.

Think about it.

Each and every one of us has it in themselves to live the kind of life we want to lead.  I truly believe that.

But here’s the problem.

If you don’t do anything about it, it’s just going to build up over time.

And eventually that build up is going to cause more and more problems if nothing is done about it.

I hate to get graphic but honestly I can’t think of a better metaphor than this.

What do you?

So what do you do when you need to live up to that potential?

What do you do when there’s this massive ball of energy that’s simply sitting there?

You take action.  Plain and simple.

Action can come in the form of almost anything.

You air it out with your friends.

You talk a to a therapist.

You hire a coach like me (hint hint).

You have to “open” that valve so all the potential can start pouring out.

Yes I know, it’s kind of disgusting with these metaphors but how about we try this one out for size….

If you’re not living the life you know you deserve, it’s just going to get shittier and shittier.

Any questions?
