You’re not alone.
You’ve never been alone.
The people who are in the most trouble are the ones who think that they are truly alone.
Let me tell you how I’m feeling at this very moment in time.
I can’t stand everything.
No, I’m serious.
- I can’t stand the sound of my kids playing in the next room.
- I can’t stand the sound of the water running because my wife has been in the shower too long.
- I can’t stand the news I’m reading.
- I can’t stand that I’m even typing this right now.
- I literally cannot stand everything that comes my way.
No matter what it is, I’m putting a negative spin on it, even if it’s something I may have praised a week ago.
But guess what?
We’ve all been there.
You think you’re the only one who has felt alone?
You think you’re the only one who has problems?
Who feels hopeless?
I don’t care how successful you are or how many people admire you, you’re gonna feel like total shit for no reason one day.
It’s going to come at you from a place you never even thought possible.
But what do you do? Where do you go when this happens?
I’d be lying if I said this feeling was easy to come out of.
And I’d also be lying if I told you some crap like “it’s all about mindset.”
No it’s not.
It’s about living in that moment.
It’s about doing every possible thing you can do while waiting for that moment to pass.
That feeling will go away eventually but the more you try and push it away, the more it will come after you.
Live WITH the feeling.
That doesn’t mean you need to think about that feeling.
It means you need to live with it.
Keep switching it up.
Keep yourself occupied.
You’ll feel better tomorrow.
That much I promise.
