Falling For Hustle Porn? Ask Yourself This Question

Hustle Porn is a real thing.  We’re in an era where there’s this huge contingent out there saying that if you’re not hustling then you’re not doing it right.

And especially now, in this pandemic, it’s becoming more rampant than ever.

In fact I saw I quote today that made me sick .

“If this pandemic didn’t bring out the hustler in you, it ain’t in you.”

Since when does working 20 hour days make you some kind of martyr?

Why do people have to sacrifice their well-being just to be “successful?”

How about at least first define what successful even means?

Here’s what it’s really all about

Do I work my ass off?  Sure I do, sometimes.

I do it when it’s necessary.  But I certainly don’t do it for the sake of the “grind.” That’s just dumb, period.

I do what I have to do in order to get where I want to go.

But I never sacrifice my health, mental well-being, or time with my family in order to do so.

If I have to work 20 hours in a day one day, I’ll do it.

But if I don’t?  I’m sure as hell not going to.

Part of being successful means keeping your mind and body well.  Working 24/7 will never contribute to that being better.

Ask yourself this question

Would you rather achieve the life of your dreams in five years while working constantly, never seeing family or friends, likely getting sick and essentially being miserable virtually the whole time?

Or

Would you rather achieve the life of your dreams in 10 years working in a balanced, consistent way that allowed you to do the things you wanted while maintaining a strong mind and body?

If you are in the first category then you really need to check what your priorities are.

If you are in the second category, but you’re not quite sure how to do it, that’s where a guy like me comes in.
