5. Ozzie Guillen. From the Chicago White Sox to the Miami Marlins, 2011
Although Ozzie Guillen was the manager of the White Sox when the franchise broke its 88-year championship drought back in 2005, the Windy City seemed to have had it up to their heads with the guy. Constantly popping off at the mouth on the field and to the media, Chicago found the perfect opportunity to get rid of the passionate manager—by trading him to the Miami Marlins before the 2012 season. Sending two minor-leaguers in exchange for Guillen, the Marlins were happy to start the new chapter in its franchise with Ozzie at the helm. Unfortunately, the love was lost quickly, as Guillen was canned after just one season.
