Ten Beers that Have the Highest Alcohol Content

SS 40

Schorschbrau Schorschbock ABV: 40%

The second time Schorschbrau Schorschbock has appeared on this list (and it won’t be the list – don’t forget, we still have one more Schorschbrau Schorschbock to go). The packaging of the 40% is remarkably similar to its 31% counterpart –  0.33 liter ceramic bottles, signed by the Braumeister himself, sealed with wax by hand, and transported in a wooden case with a transparent window on one side. However, the taste of the 40% is all its own, as it has been described as a deep reddish amber with lots of spice that tastes of cherries and pie crust (essentially a really warm, alcoholic version of a cherry pie).
