Ever since Chad Johnson changed his name to Chad Ocho Cinco and then eventually back to Chad Johnson and then eventually him completely disappearing to then trying to make a CFL comeback, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on the whole name thing in the NFL. Actually I haven’t, but there are some pretty awesome bar names out there utilizing the names of some current and former players. Even if you don’t change one aspect of their name (except for adding an apostrophe and an “s”), these 10 Player names would make for great titles to pubs.
I personally think it could be “Larry” Maroney’s but Maroney is a solid name for a pub.
McKinney. Nice strong Irish name. He’d be the owner and bouncer.
If it were spelled Sean then you’d definitely have some Irishness going on there. But I kind of like Shaun in the title. It would give it a little personality. And if it were failing you could always change the name to Roy Williams.
Yes his name is Willis. But Willy works better.
I never knew this guy was African American until I actually saw him on the field. With a name like that how can you possibly blame me?
Now this name is way up there. Right in the middle of Bourbon Street. Perfect.
The reason I put this name down was because the McFadden’s here in New York is atrocious. We need an NFL player come in here and clean the place up. Ah yes, and we’d need his car in the logo.
I can’t think of a better Irish pub name than JT O’Sullivan’s.
As you all now it’s pronounced Brewsky. And it doesn’t get much better than that.
Better shorten it to TJ’s and if you didn’t know I was kidding don’t ever come back to this site.
