Inspiration of the Day: Armless Egyptian Ping Pong Player Ibrahim Hamato

Armless Ping Pong

For those of you who grew up playing ping pong and think you’re any good, try doing this.  Here’s a man who plays ping pong with no arms.  How does he hold the paddle?  With his mouth.  As you’ll see in the video below this is pretty darned impressive.   The man himself even says he cares about two thing:  His wife and ping pong.  So basically all he does is eat, sleep, and think ping pong.

There’s only one rub in this video.  And this may sound accusatory but have you noticed that the ping pong ball seems to be landing in the same spot every single time?  Granted what this goes does is very impressive but you see stories out there of people with disabilities all the time who have more skill at their respective talent than someone without a disability.

I think we need to see a video of this guy moving around and hitting balls from different spots in the same rally.  Again though, can’t take anything away from this guy.  It’s commendable.
