The Best Employee Training Video in History: Wendy’s Grill Skillz from 1989

The 80s is in my humble opinion one of if not the best decades for unintentional comedy.  And no better will you see this in cheesy action movies.  However, there’s a sector of media that goes unnoticed.  It’s the employee training videos.  You know those horribly boring videos that fast food restaurants and  large corporations make their employees go through?  Well, at some point someone decided to try and spice these videos up so the employees wouldn’t fall to sleep mid video.  Turns out that Wendy’s went the extra distance in this amazing find.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is not a joke. I’m not sure where Wendy’s came up with this concept but for the first half of this video you’re kind of thinking, “yeah well this is a normal training video.” Then, BANG. Out comes this Old School rapper who some people are calling the magic negro.  No, I’m not making this up, and no,  I didn’t come up with this name. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m ready to Grill!
