Man I love true stories like this but before I begin I need to understand the spelling of the word “Orangutan.”  Why isn’t there a “g” at the end?  It’s just something I need to know.  In any event we as humans could learn a little thing or two from these characters.   This is based on a true story which goes a little like this:

Suryia and Roscoe live at the Tigers sanctuary in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The orangutan was in the rescue center and was not doing well. This old hound wandered in, truly emaciated, and the orangutan took to him the moment the dog arrived. He stayed with the hound night and day until he was well and during the process found a reason to live. They are now inseparable.

Honestly have you ever seen a human story like this?  Like what if it were a black person and a white person?  Would the black or white person take to the other if they were ill?   Sometimes the most basic animal instincts serve the species best.  We could only hope to have this kind of compassion in our lives.

I don’t know if it was the movie Jaws or not but come on.  Seeing a shark like this?  I’m 99% sure I would faint from fear.  The shark would then go on to rip all of my limbs and eat me.  Hopefully I wouldn’t feel it because I would be unconscious.

But actually choosing to go in the water with these guys?  Good luck.  Sure it’s cool to look at and all but good God I would shit myself.

And this dude looks like he’s being pushed into it!  Poor diver.

Here’s something to think about while you look at this picture.  All across America there are sad, lonely teens who turn to drugs and violence in order to “fit in.”  I have no idea if this person is one of those people.

What I do know is that there are more people like this in the world than there are people like myself.

If I have one fear in this world, it is the knowledge of this fact.

It’s happened to all of us.  And it’s probably happened more than once.  You might be at work.  You may have been at school.  Hell you may have been sitting on a toilet.  When you’re super tired sometimes those eyelids get heavy and you just can’t control the urge to stay awake.  No matter how hard you try it’s that closed shut try to open thing.  You knoqw what I’m talking about.

It’s just that most times this happens you probably don’t have a camera right in front of your face.  Luckily for us people catch people sleeping on camera all the time.

Remember your first prom?  Remember how you were pretty sure you’d get laid?  Remember how you did or did not get laid?  I personally did not (although my buddy hooked up with my date) and I’m a little upset about it.  In fact I didn’t lose my virginity until college.  And now that it’s 12 years after the fact it doesn’t matter all that much but tell that to my fraternity which I had to lie to in order to safe face with our “virginity stories” night during our pledge retreat.

What was I saying before admitting how lame I am?  Ah yes.  The Prom.  Most guys wear a simple tuxedo and most girls wear a nice dress, but if you want to go out with a bang you might want to consider some of these outfits.

I’ll admit it.  I get stage fright every now and then.  If I’m in a bathroom and there are no splash guards to protect me from seeing 10 other dudes and their “dudes” hanging out then I’m not going to be comfortable.

It’s got nothing to do with the fact that I have a small penis.  That’s just the way it is.  It has to do with the fact that I just don’t want to see other guys pissing.

So as if that’s not bad enough, now we have these annoying bitches laughing at us?  Thanks advertising.

Have you ever caught yourself mesmerized by a National Geographic program?  I’m a huge fan of that kind of stuff.  It’s just amazing to see other types of animals doing their thing.  Whether it’s mating, creating shelter or even attacking other animals, nature is one cool place to observe life in it’s natural habitat.

I think what makes it so interesting is the fact that we can see similarities between these animals and ourselves.  And I mean from the most basic core survival and attraction standpoints.  But seriously, how cool is it to see an animal do something that we ourselves would do?

Only with animals there are zero consequences.  Perhaps that’s what the draw is.  And in yet another powerful photographic display, National Geographic takes us through animals and their attacks on other animals for survival.

I’ve seen some big headlines in my day and this one definitely takes the cake.

Young Ruslan Moukanov, from Kazakhstan, fell in love with the luxurious Rolls Royce Phantom ever since he saw some pictures of it a few years ago, while sitting in the local library. Tormented by the desire to own a Phantom, Ruslan realized he couldn’t just buy a 500,000 euro car, so he found a way around that.

Using some nifty mechanic skills this guy managed to turn an old clunker Mercedes into a Rolls.  He built the car kit himself and did what he could to get the extra needed spare parts.

So instead of the 500K Euro car, he managed to spend 3K.  Not bad!
