Cuidacarros

Ever worry that your call may get stolen while you’re in the store or eating a nice restaurant? Have no fear, the cuidacarros, who are essentially car protectors, are here. What these people do is stay by your car and promise to make sure no one steals it for you while you’re gone.  Most will do this job for whatever amount of cash you give them when you return, while others have rates between $1-$10 an hour. This is mainly popular in Costa Rica and Brazil. (And for the record, I doubt any of them look like Paris Hilton.)
