The 10 Best Soccer Movies in History

A Dangerous Method - UK Gala Premiere - Inside Arrivals

Bend It Like Beckham

Soccer movies can’t all be about the guys, can they? Bend It Like Beckham (which came out in 2003 – I seriously can’t believe it’s been that long) is the compelling and inspiring story of Jess, an Indian girl who doesn’t want to be restricted be the traditions that her family is imposing on her and instead just wants to play soccer professionally, like her idol, David Beckham, and it’s most definitely one of the best soccer movies that has ever come out. The movie features some great performance (including one from the always charming and stunning Keira Knightley, pictured above) and is a great example of how sometimes we need to let our friends or family chase their dreams, even if they seem to be a little different or crazy to us.
