Bronn did not die, which makes his absence on Game of Thrones that much harder to swallow. He simply left because he got himself a wife, some money, and a better life – that’s a pretty darn good deal in Westeros, especially when you live in King’s Landing, where death could be waiting for you at every corner. Bronn was a sellsword, but he was funny, charismatic, and, at times, even heroic (even when he wasn’t using the most honorable of fighting tactics). What I’ll miss most about him, though, are his scenes with Tyrion, which not only provided some much needed comic relief but also helped forged what was, in my opinion, the best friendship on Game of Thrones.
