Top Ten Best Movies Directed by Clint Eastwood

3. Unforgiven

As I said before, Clint Eastwood knows his Westerns, and in no film did he prove that more than in the Oscar-winning Unforgiven. The grittiness, the violence, the moral ambiguity that Eastwood pours into every single scene is so apparent and intentional, and it truly creates a real and vibrant Wild West world, one that viewers, no matter how dark the movie gets, never want to leave. That’s why Unforgiven earned Eastwood on Oscar for Best Director back in 1993.
