Top Ten Best Clint Eastwood Movies of All-Time

Premiere Of Warner Bros. Pictures' "Trouble With The Curve" - Arrivals

7. Unforgiven

When your film takes three of the top six awards at the Oscars, it’s safe to say that you’ve probably made a pretty darn good movie. Unforgiven, which won Best Picture, Best Director for Eastwood, and Best Supporting Actor for Gene Hackman, is Clint Eastwood’s love letter to Sergio Leone and spaghetti westerns. Eastwood strips down the genre to its most gritty and violent and by doing so molds Unforgiven into something much more in the vein of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (spoiler alert: it’ll be on this list later) than any of the more glossy, Hollywood westerns that had preceded it in the years before.
