9.  Escape From Alcatraz

Escape from Alcatraz is one of the first Clint Eastwood films I’ve ever seen, and it essentially made me realize, very quickly, that Clint Eastwood was the golden standard for what a tough guy should be like. Even when I catch the film on TV to this day, I still find myself in awe of Eastwood’s screen presence in each scene – he’s just so intimidating as Alcatraz’s Frank Morris, who attempts to brick himself and two other convicts out of the infamous prison.
