Top Ten Best Clint Eastwood Movies of All-Time

Modern Master Award - 24th Santa Barbara Film Festival

2. Dirty Harry

“You’ve got to ask yourself a question: ‘do I feel lucky?’ Well, do ya, punk?” If A Fistfull of Dollars put Clint Eastwood on the map, Dirty Harry was the film that catapulted from household name straight into Hollywood superstar status thanks to Eastwood’s fantastic onscreen presence. Equipped with his .44 Magnum, “the most powerful handgun in the world,” Eastwood’s Harry Callahan is tough, hard-working cop who begins to take justice into his own hands in order to make sure that criminals won’t kill again. Dirty Harry was such a huge hit for Eastwood that it spawned four sequels: Magnum Force, The Enforcer, Sudden Impact, and The Dead Pool.
