With the release of Jersey Boys just last Friday (a movie that my mom and grandmother saw together, but probably one I’ll never be checking out. No offense, Frankie Valli), the Clint Eastwood directed film got met thinking about the epic growler’s career. And by his career, I don’t just mean the films that he’s directed, which have been a mixed bag of late. Sure, Eastwood has directed movies like Gran Torino, Million Dollar Baby, and Mystic River but he’s three most recent directorial efforts (excluding Jersey Boys) are J. Edgar, Hereafter, and Invictus. Ultimately, I view Eastwood as an actor, first and foremost, and so I wanted to compile a list of what I think are the top ten best Clint Eastwood films of all-time. These are all movies that Eastwood acted in (although he could have directed them, too), and they span over the last five decades. So, without further ado, let’s get started.
