Five Things The Miami Heat Should Not Do in the Offseason

Miami Heat Victory Parade And Rally

Get older

The Heat’s three main stars (Lebron, Bosh, and Wade) are all getting older. In fact, many people believe that Dwayne Wade, at 32, is already past his prime, and I can’t say I disagree. Also take into account that the Heat may still have players like Ray Allen (38 years old) and Rashard Lewis (35 years old), and it’s clear that what the Heat need is some younger NBA talent to add to the stable veteran core that already exists. Adding more players in their 30s, who are at the decline of their careers, would not be a smart move.
