1. O.J. Simpson, NFL
Most of us remember former NFL running back O.J. Simpson for two things—his Hall of Fame career and his trial in 1995. And regardless of your opinion on that specific ruling back then, the law ultimately caught-up with “The Juice” in 2007. After a few guys stole memorabilia from sports dealer Bruce Fromong in his Vegas hotel room, Simpson admitted that he had taken the items, but it was only in retaliation for them being stolen from him. Unfortunately for Simpson, the truth came out that he was more than just involved, and that, even if the items were in fact his, you threatening another person with guns isn’t the proper way to get them back.
