Realizing the window of opportunity was quickly closing on their championship aspirations, the Boston Celtics not only traded away future Hall of Fame players Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett, but just a few weeks later when into full rebuilding mode by agreeing to rid their most recent title-winning coach of the agony of an untalented roster. While the Celts struggle in a bad Eastern Conference, Rivers has his Clippers thriving in the West, currently sitting in the 4th playoff spot. All that for an unprotected first-round pick in 2015.
