1942 – Los Angeles, CA

Early in the morning on February 25, 1942, during World War II, radar discovered an unidentified object 120 miles to the west of Los Angeles. At first, it was believed to be a Japanese aircraft but as the UFO made its way closer and closer to the coast, within only a few miles, it suddenly vanished off the operators’ screens and disappeared.
