How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse in 10 Easy Steps

Prison In Western Illinois Being Considered To House Gitmo Prisoners

9. Seek shelter

After you escape from your hometown or city, seek shelter somewhere that isn’t easily penetrable. Don’t choose a place with too many doors or entryways. You’ll also want somewhere secluded, but not too far from more centralized areas that could be rummaged for supplies. Cellars or basements aren’t bad places to hide out but could turn out to be nightmarish if a large band of zombies breaks in. Your best bet is too find a big, concrete-protected structure – something like the prison from The Walking Dead, but just don’t let any disease-carrying rats inside.
