With the Super Bowl coming up, we sadly will be saying goodbye to yet another NFL season.
And though it’s something that we’ll be missing until the NFL Draft sparks our obsession again, something else that we’ll be able to fill our football fix is wearing our favorite jersey around town.
And thanks to DICK’S Sporting Goods’ Jersey Report, they’ve broken down the jersey sales of the past season—and we’ve noticed some interesting trends, as well as some major surprises.
5. The AFC Lead the Way
This might not be surprising to most given the fact that quarterbacks like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and young gun Andrew Luck reside in that specific conference, but seeing how it’s the inferior conference, we’re a bit shocked.
What might be more surprising is that the biggest difference in percentage of each division is actually the AFC West to the NFC West—which the NFC having the past two Super Bowl reps in it (49ers and Seahawks).
