With the college football season ending last night with the playing of the national title game between Auburn and Florida State, we wrap up another season in which frat boys chugged their way through an entire semester, and sorority chicks accompanied their crying boyfriends outside of the stadium.
But with the passing of another season also brings the end of a few other things that we won’t be seeing again next year—and these are just six of the ones we’ll miss the most.
5. Big Ten Haters
Who knows if the Big Ten’s performances in their bowl games was enough for other college football fans to take notice, but as someone who used to call the Midwest home, we certainly hope it brought some respect.
While the conference’s overall record may not have been superb by any sense, its teams did avoid embarrassment—especially in the games against rival SEC teams—along with the Rose Bowl win by Michigan State versus Stanford.
