We’re sure you didn’t miss it a few weeks ago, but after Derek Jeter and Andy Pettitte went to the mound and removed their (now) former teammate, Mariano Rivera, from the Yankees Stadium mound for the last time—choking us up more than we have in awhile—we started thinking about how cool it must have been to see “Mo” run out of the bullpen just one last time to his classic song, “Enter Sandman.”
Being there was probably chilling, which is why we’re giving you six moments in sports we wish to have gotten goosebumps from as well.
6. Any Game 7 of a Championship Game
We really don’t care what sport it is, if there’s a championship game to go to, it’s always Game 7, right?
Not only is the tension at an all-time high, with both teams doing anything possible to try and earn the right to be called champs, but their will most likely be a variety of memorable moments that you’ll never forget—or delete off your phone.
Being able to see a team hoist the league title trophy, even if it’s not your own, is a pretty cool sight too.
