It’s not a secret that people hate to look and apply for jobs
Whether it’s because they’re forced to after being canned at their last gig, or due to the fact that they hate their current position so much that they absolutely need to see what’s out there that will save them from going nuts, it’s always a tricky situation.
While it can be exciting to actually hear back from different hiring managers, there are absolutely terrible things about the entire experience, and that’s why we’re giving you these today, because they will make you think twice about ever wanting to work again.
5. Being So Damn “Politically Correct”
Personally speaking, we could never imagine having to look for a job right now. Mainly it’s because our personality and demeanor isn’t what you’d call “professional” on an everyday basis, so we might come across as a little more nonchalant than other candidates.
But that’s the problem a lot of times, because so many people come across as how they want employers think they should act, rather than how the candidate really is.
Having to play that game is too much work for us.
