5. Wake Up TIme
If you’ve ever been to support someone at a race, you probably know that they get started before 7:30am about 95 percent of the time.
So while, as a spectator, you were able to sleep in a little longer than the actual runner, maybe grab some breakfast and coffee to be on the course around nine or so, when you’re actually the one participating, you better be ready to force yourself to sleep by about 10pm, and set about three different alarms to make sure you’re awake and mentally prepared for your journey by about 4:45am.
