If you’re a kids from the ’90s like we are, you probably emulated everything that Zack Morris and A.C. Slater did.
As the BMOC’s of Bayside High, the two started as enemies hunting for the same girl (Kelly Kopowski), became best friends and found themselves in some interesting predicaments along the way with their other friends.
With a ton of great one-liners and moments from the long-running series, we’re giving you some of our favorite sports memories that are sure to give that Tiger spirit.
5. The Foul Ball
What makes this episode so great is that it’s something that every single high school kid has either pulled themselves, or at least thought about doing.
Here’s how it went down.
With Zack lying about his religion (bold move) to get out of school in celebration of a Jewish holiday (since “Morris” sounds so Hebrew) to go to the Dodgers game, he catches a foul ball.
Good look, right? Wrong.
Jessie’s stepbrother, Eric, visiting from New York, actually taped the game that day, blackmailing Zack in order to try and steal his locker (cool move, dude).
In-between taping Slater and his stepsister banging (gross), and crashing Principal Belding’s sports car, we find out Eric is just homesick and decides to apologize—but is never heard from again.
