Apparently this college student didn’t have any spidey sense. Unfortunately for 21-year-old Jonathan Hewson, an attempt at robbing a convenience store was thwarted by a clerk with a weapon, WPXI reports. At least he’ll go down in University of Pittsburgh history as the dude who got arrested while wearing his Spider-Man costume. Investigators say Hewson entered an Atwood Express in Pittsburgh on Friday morning and yelled, “How much money you got?” The clerk says he felt threatened and whipped out a Spider-Man’s only true weakness — a stun gun. I really hope this was during fraternity hazing week and not something this kid thought was going to be a good idea. Talk about giving Spiderman a bad name. If this is a fraternity prank it’s actually pretty funny minus the kid getting arrested.
