5. Carson Palmer, Cardinals
It’s not that Palmer is a terrible QB, it’s just that he’s not starting caliber at this point of his career.
The former No. 1 overall choice of the Bengals after winning the Heisman trophy at Southern Cal may still think he can sling it like he used to when with Cincinnati, but if you’ve watched any of his passes in the past couple seasons, even the most causal fan he lacks the zip needed to split defenders.
His numbers aren’t as terrible as one might think for making this list, but come on now, who really thinks this guy is going to lead the Cardinals to a Super Bowl?
