Although the major league season still has just about a quarter or so left until we really know who’s crowned world champ, we just love talking about awards.
And unlike a bad joke that’s way-too-soon, offering up our predictions for some of the biggest awards can never come earlier enough, so that’s what we’re giving you today, listing the candidacy of those guys who could take home the AL MVP.

Smashing his 200th career homer the other day, Cano is without a doubt the best second baseman in the game right now—especially offensively—as he’s hit 23 homers, driven in 81 and hit at a .308 clip.
The Yanks still believe they have a shot at the playoffs as they continue getting guys healthy, and if Robbie continues raking the way he has been throughout this season, why should we doubt them?
