The Types of People in Every Office

After a couple years of having the freedom of working from anywhere we wanted to, we recently decided to help a start-up get off the ground by doing some consulting work.

While it’s exciting to help a company with its direction, it sucks getting back into a regular 9-5 work day—even if it is just three days a week.

One of the many things we didn’t miss about an office are the many types of people in each of them.

Sure, no one’s exactly the same, but depending on the title of a person, they normally share similar traits, and these are just some of them.

6. The Bro

You’ll be asking yourself, “Didn’t he wear that outfit yesterday?” every single Friday as he rolls in hungover (or still hammered) from his decision to bring back Thursday’s like he was still in college.

Chances are high that he’s a ruthless brown noser who tries to use his charm on upper-management and clients to get what he wants, while being way too competitive about sales goals and the company softball team.
