Could Dave Chappelle be preparing for a return to the spotlight? Since his infamous 2006 departure from the mega-hit Comedy Central sketch series, “Chappelle’s Show,” the stand-up comedian and actor has only made a handful of TV appearances. Occasionally he has performed stand-up comedy on the road, to varying results. But signs seem to point to Chappelle’s interest in reclaiming his throne as one of comedy’s most innovative minds. Chris Rock is a legend. He’s one of the best comedians of my generation. Period. I won’t argue that point. Dave Chappelle was in a world of his own. Dave Chappelle could have easily ran away with the title of ‘best’, but instead he ran away. Now he’s potentially making a return with Rock. Rock and Chappelle on tour would be sublime. I’m in.
