In case you missed it, there was a report that came out the other day talking about how much NFL Commish Roger Goodell made in 2011—a whopping $30 million!
So besides mandating everything for the country’s most popular sport, it’s safe to say Goodell won’t be asking to borrow money anytime in his lifetime.
All these moneybags got us thinking about who the most overpaid people in sports actually are (considering what they’re asked to do in their jobs), so be prepared to be extremely jealous.

What better way to kickoff our list than with one of the most overpaid athletes in sports?
A-Rod has accomplished a ton in his soon-to-be Hall of Fame career, but as great as he was five years ago, he’s nothing even close to that these days—yet earns even more—meaning there’s no way the Yanks can defend paying him $27.5 million per year through 2017.
On top of his diminished skills, he’s been a headache and full of controversy ever since arriving in the Bronx in 2004.
