The 8 Worst Things About the NBA All-Star Game
1. Historical Value

For all the reasons we mentioned already, we can’t believe guys actually get recognized for their All-Star stats.
When the teams combine for over 300 points, of course a player is going to average close to 20 per contest.
Just because a player can say they’re an All-Star, doesn’t really mean they deserved it, so why give them props when deciding who gets into the Hall of Fame or is talked about as a “great” player?
Oh right, it shouldn’t.
