We really tried to avoid putting the East at our No. 1 spot, but the fact is, they team’s are just too good—and they’re getting better.
Even with Boston having a dreadful season last year, finishing dead last in the division by 26 games, the division proved that it was more than just the BoSox and Yanks.
The Orioles made the playoffs for the first time in 16 years, and the Rays have been consistently good now for over five years.
And just when you thought it couldn’t be more balanced, the fourth place Blue Jays went out and stacked their roster with pitching and hitting.
Whoever clinches the division this year will definitely earn it.
