The 8 Toughest Divisions in Sports

We all know the Ravens just won the Super Bowl on Sunday. And if you follow football at all, you’re probably aware that they play in the AFC North, which features the perennial Super Bowl-contending Steelers, along with the up-and-coming Bengals (two playoff appearances in the past three years), and the (hopefully) upstart Browns.
With six, tough games against divisional foes, we started thinking about what teams reside in the tougher divisions in sports?
Though it’s never easy to win a divisional title, if you’re a fan of any of these team’s, you know it’s just a little bit tougher than some others.
8. NFL’s NFC North

Want to know something kind of depressing to Lions fans? After a 2011 season where the team seemed to break their futility, the team fell back into oblivion thanks to their divisional counterparts like the division-winning Packers and Wild Card-clinching Vikings.
When you toss in the Bears and their rich history and fan expectations, and it’s easy to see why the Black and Blue Division can definitely leave you well, black and blue.
