5. Alexander Semin
Like his Russian and former Capitals teammate (Alexander Ovechkin), Semin has seen his production decrease over the past several years.
Unlike Ovie though, his decline got him shipped out of town when Washington refused to sign him this past offseason, and he moved onto the Carolina Hurricanes.
Semin’s got the skills to turn things around, but at 28 years old, if it doesn’t happen this year, it probably never will.
