2. The Gray Area.
It’s typically a bad idea, but this is the period of time when you think you and your ex can try working things out and potentially get back together.
You’ll refer to the “breakup” as more of just a “break,” and try to work out each other’s problems while openly admitting to communicate and change better.
Guess what happens? You waste your time and just confuse one another, along with all your friends who roll your eyes every time you talk about “trying to work things out.”
