1. Doug Williams – Redskins

Williams became the first African American QB to win the big game, but if you look at the situation he was in on that 1987 team, you’ll see that he took over for the injured incumbent Jay Schroeder, and actually had an 0-2 regular season record in his two starts that year.
He may have won Super Bowl MVP honors, but for completing just 49.5% of his passes in his career, and owning a 38-42-1 overall record, his career was anything but super.
