Heading into the playoffs last year, the Flyers were heavy favorites to lift Lord Stanley’s cup. Problem was, they came across a sizzling-hot Martin Brodeur-led Devils team, and were bounced in the Eastern semis.

Though disappointing, they bring back a similar roster filled with talent that can compete against teams like Pittsburgh and the Rangers, while not selling out to just win now.
