We went down for the Final Four a couple years ago, eager to party it up and get really weird while in NOLA—and that’s exactly what happened.

Our wallet got ganked while still stone cold sober.

We couldn’t understand a single word anyone was saying when trying to drunkenly find our hotel.

And when all we wanted to do was catch our flight out of town, we got delayed overnight.

We definitely came as we were—excited about what New Orleans had to offer—and left differently, never wanting to return to the state again.
