With the age of social media that we live in now, we can all probably admit to a good amount of athletes that we love to follow on Twitter. For us, it’s Kevin Love and Ochocinco. But for some other fans out there, we’re sure you’ve got a couple guys that just make you laugh every time they hit that “Send” button.

It’s one thing to be a good player, but it’s a completely different one to be able to add good tweeter to your resume too.

Well these tweets by athletes this year happened to be the best (okay, funniest) that we found. Could a career in stand-up be in their future after their playing days end?
