Back in college, we remember wearing stuff like Jnco’s and skater shirts, and though it’s a far cry from some of the pics we’ve seen of our parents running around in tie-dye and bandanas with a bunch of hippies, that doesn’t mean it was cool.
For all those current college students who think they’ve got the ultimate style rocking the throwback flat bills, vintage shirts or keeping it preppy by layering all your J Crew, we’re here to show you why you’re not that special when it comes to your style, and why thousands of other kids on campuses everywhere are doing the same thing.
So open up your notebooks and start taking notes, because whether these trends are here to last or just a fad for next semester, if you walk around on campus you’ll probably see a ton of dudes trying to pull them off.
We’re from the South (well, kind of. We live here now), so one of the most prominent (and irritating) looks every frat dude has running around is that damn swoop.
You know the one, it’s prim and proper on the sides and back, but those damn bangs hang down like they’re trying to be the grown-up version of what Justin Bieber was a couple years ago.
Add in the visor and tie as ultimate fratty accessories—don’t ask us why—and these guys migrate all over campuses everywhere.
