There was once a time in my life that I actually did stand up comedy in New York City.  Yes, it’s true.   I performed about 5 times or so.   Four out of five performances were solid and my last one sucked.   I guess I’m a coward for not having gone back up there after my first bomb.   Bottom line is that’s a tough job and it takes a lot of balls as well as skill.

Which is why I’m always impressed when I see someone who I think might make it.   Speaking of which.   I’m not sure if the unknowns in these quotes will make it but I’m sure some have a great chance.
