You’d think that we’d learn from our anticipation (and ultimate distaste) for movies like Savages and Taken 2 earlier this year, but with its release today, here we are again, counting down the hours until we can see the new mob/crime flick with Brad Pitt, Ray Liotta and James Gandolfini in it.
So what makes this movie so different than the other ones we’ve been so anxiously awaiting to hit theaters this year? Since we haven’t actually seen it yet, we’re not really sure?
But we can tell you some of the reasons we’re as hyped about it as any of those duds that we did see, and why you should be just as pumped to waste $15 on a single movie ticket!
Usually not ones to go off others opinions on stuff, it’s clear that we have no idea what constitutes a good and bad movie before seeing it. So we’re turning to the experts to show us the way.
Lucky for us, most of everything we’ve read has been positive.
Another good thing about the new movie is it killed it overseas in the box office, so even though the studio delayed the American release a couple months, it didn’t push it back even more, or worse, completely trash the thing.
We’d say that’s always a good sign it might be big.
