It’s been nearly a month since Hurricane Sandy but I’m still reading about it to this day.   Perhaps it’s because I live in Long Island and it’s obviously quite close to home.   I was one of the luckier ones in the sense that my house wasn’t destroyed and I got power back within a week.  However, one of the things I remember not necessarily after the hurricane but after winter storm Athena was, “I wish I could just get the hell away from here.”

While I haven’t made vacation plans yet, after seeing these photos that you are about to see, I’m quite certain my next trip is going to be to Turks and Caicos.   I can’t imagine a more relaxing looking place.
