While dropping a buddy off at the airport today, we nailed a damn curb and scraped the entire front side of our car. We were pissed. Not only do we have a giant scuff mark on our already crappy ’98 Volvo, but now we’ve got to worry about getting it fixed.

Thankfully, we’ve got some solid car insurance. It’s expensive as all hell, but at least we don’t need to worry about paying for that crap out of pocket. And since insurers are used to people making dumb mistakes all the time, we can live with the embarrassment of how it happened. But some of these claims? Well, whoever did it probably isn’t as lucky.
