A few weeks ago our man Fingo wrote a piece on songs you can always turn to on a drunken Karaoke night.  And it’s evident with his selections that he’s in my generation.  I’m curious if the youth of today Karaoke’s to Lady Gaga or Justin Bieber. If so I think I might have to move out of the country.
But since this is our site and our generation I figured it’d be a good time to add another five appropriate songs to the list.  Fingo, this one is for you and you know these songs are perfect for sing a long.
Check out the list after the jump….
Livin’ On a Prayer – Bon Jovi
Of any Bon Jovi song out there this is clearly the one where people sing to it the most. It’s not even close.  I mean maybe You Give Love a Bad Name but come on. This is the one.  The chorus? Give me a break. Everyone goes nuts to the chorus of this song.
Don’t You Want Me – Human League
I actually saw a great rendition of this song done in a movie and that’s really the reason why it’s up here. There were like 30 people in their 40s singing it and it was perfect.  I’m pretty sure everyone in the bar would appreciate this one.
Come On Eileen – Dexy’s Midnight Ramblers
Fingo, how could you not put this one on here? If Tommyboy used it then I’m gonna have to include it.
Copacabana – Barry Manilow
This may be old scho0l but I’m pretty sure that there would be zero crowd objections to this song.
Jessie’s Girl – Rick Springfield
This is a given.
